Drinking Lots of Beer in the Bells
(To the tune of "Walking in a Winter Wonderland")

Lyrics: Jonathan Abraham, Andrew Jenkins, Donna Kotrzuba. Music: Trad.
Six o'clock, will he open?
Stood outside Tapper's hoping,
He’s hanging around, his tongue's on the ground,
Waiting for some beer in the Bells.

Later on we've been drinking,
Huge amounts we've been sinking.
We struggle to stand, we blame Marten Bland,
Drinking lots of beer in the Bells.

In the corner you may see the landlord,
Standing with a silk cut and a pint.
He'll say "Are you waiting?", you’ll say "Yes Sir!",
And then he’ll disappear out of sight.

Twenty past the clock is showing,
He says "Time to be going".
No stop on in sight, still we've had a good night,
Drinking lots of beer in the Bells.

No stop on in sight, still we've had a good night,
Drinking lots of beer in the Bells.

Drinking lots of beer in the Bells.
