A rare photograph of Mr W. unmasked A rare photograph of Mr W. unmasked

The National Aeronautical and Space Administration has awarded an employment contract to a Bridgend man.

Mr W.

Known simply for the moment as 'Mr W.', he hugely impressed the Americans on New Year's Eve with a magnificent display of pyrotechnic destruction, during which a fish and chip shop, supermarket and post office were annihilated with consummate ease.

Pluto

It is understood that Mr W. will lead NASA's latest project, 'To Infinity and Beyond', which is designed to land a rocket

on the planet Pluto. A NASA spokesperson declared, triumphantly, "We are delighted to have acquired the services of Mr. W., in the face of fierce competition from the Pentagon and NATO."

STOP PRESS
We have just received a photograph of Mr W. leaving to take up his post at the Kennedy Space Centre.
