Bridgend Ex-Mayor in Soporific Session

The Five Bells Labour Party Supporters annually visit Worcester during the month of August for a cultural tour of the city of Elgar followed by convivial conversation and refreshment in one of the local hostelries.
The event is usually enjoyed by all involved but there is an unwritten rule that political talk is strictly forbidden. However, this year that rule was broken by the ex-Mayor of Bridgend Town Council, Richard Young.
A picture taken by a hidden camera at the Swinging Gavel Inn, which lies on the outskirts of Worcester reveals in horrifying detail the effect of Richard's diatribe. Kevin and Sharon Ellis hold their heads in their hands in despair as Richard enters his second hour of political platitudes.
Angela Jones struggles to remain awake while Elaine Tozer has given up and snoozes quietly at the back. Only loyal wife Annette and close friends Alun and Karen maintain any semblance of interest.
